To the women who have shaped me - and the ones I am proud to work with today!
From my childhood to my career in the technology industry, I have been inspired by incredible women who have paved the way for me. It all started with my mum and the strong women in my family who taught me resilience, determination and the value of hard work.
I grew up admiring Tunisian pioneers like Majida Boulila, who fought for her country's independence. Or Aziza Othmana, whose philanthropy changed lives, Bchira Ben Mrad, a fearless advocate for women's rights, and Tawhida Ben Cheikh, North Africa's first female doctor who revolutionised women's healthcare.
As I entered the world of technology, I found inspiration in Grace Hopper, who shaped modern computing, Radia Perlman, the ‘mother of the internet’, Margaret Hamilton, whose codes sent astronauts to the moon, and Ruth Nelson, a pioneer of cryptography. Their brilliance and perseverance formed the roots for the industry I work in today.
My special thanks go to Jessenia Ortega, a mentor and colleague who accompanied me at the beginning of my career. Her support made a difference and I will always be grateful to her.
And today, I am fortunate to work with an incredible team of strong women who prove every day that cybersecurity and technology belong to everyone. Their expertise, dedication and leadership continue to inspire me.
To all women who overcome adversity, lead with strength and inspire the next generation - persevere!
