This five‑day intensive training equips participants with in‑depth knowledge and hands‑on skills to implement and manage a Privacy Information Management System (PIMS) in accordance with ISO/IEC 27701.

The course provides a thorough understanding of standard requirements and practical guidance for PIMS implementation, including organizational context analysis, leadership and commitment, privacy risk assessment and treatment, definition of privacy objectives, implementation of controls for PII controllers and processors, and management of documented information and awareness. Participants also learn how to monitor, measure, and continually improve the PIMS.

After completing the course, participants may take the PECB Certified ISO/IEC 27701 Lead Implementer exam to demonstrate their practical capability to implement ISO/IEC 27701 requirements.
